My good friend Ariel Lemon sums up an announcement that we Shapeways designers just got. I understand it to mean that for the larger single part items that Shapeways loves to showcase will get cheaper but items with lots of parts like my little figures will be getting a lot more expensive 🙁
We have until October 7th when the prices are deployed. I hate to say it like this, but if you’re thinking of grabbing some of my stuff, you should probably get them now 🙁
I’ll be reworking my models to try to get my costs down in this new pricing scheme but I can’t make any guarantees or even any guesses at how much I’ll be able to get them down if at all.
