Made some adjustments to the rules and Assets to now include Power Stations for each Roller. In the rules I’ve gotten rid of the Regeneration Mechanic. I found that it dragged games out and made it really hard to do any lasting damage. In stead players must now get their Roller back to their Power Station in order to recover lost EN. In order to collect the EN, the Roller must START their turn on it. The idea is that at some point between you setting down on the Power Station and actually getting to collect EN, you could get your Roller Knocked off of it during an Attack.
The Knock Back Effect is incorporated into every attack now, and a Roller doesn’t have to have a special ability to trigger it, though some Rollers will enhance or diminish the affect. When rolling for attack, Skulls count as Damage, of course, but any Stars that are rolled are counted towards Knock Back. If you have an ATT of 3 and manage to roll all Stars, you won’t do any damage but you could end up Knocking Back your opponent 3 spaces. When defending, Shields will block Damage, of course, and Stars rolled will negate any Knock Back Stars from your attacker.
In Basic Game Play the KB really only usefully serves to force a move off of a Power Station, but in the Advanced Rules there will be Falling Damage for moving off of high places, climbing rules, and I plan on creating some maps with environmental hazards so your Roller could get KB’d into some lava or something.
